Top case carriers come in two variations : - Fixed Hinge Carrier and a Movable Hinge Carrier. The only different is that in a movable rack , when the top case is not on the carrier the hinge is laid flat on the carrier. That gives you a flat bed to keep any luggage on the tail section.
